The Spotlight Key serves as the primary light for this setup, positioned at just 2% power and angled downward for subtle illumination. A blue musical note, used as a practical light, was incorporated in the background to add depth and a vibrant pop of color to the composition. To the left of the subject, a Rim Light is set to match the orange hue of the background light at 60% power, providing effective separation from the backdrop. The background light, operating at 40% power, is strategically positioned in the far back left corner to enhance the spread of the window light gobo for added texture and dimension. Even without multiple lights, this setup can still achieve a visually compelling result with just the Spotlight Key and the practical light.
The Gear used in this setup includes:
- Neewer CB100C with an Wellmaking Snoot and Blinds Gobo as the Background Light.
- Neewer MS150C with an Godox Spotlight VSA 36k as the Spotlight Key.
